a Matthew 28:8 kinda team!

hey ppl!! as always, HUGE thanks for following along on this lil journey. God is good, His plans are good, these woman are good and now I’m gonna share :)) 

meet my team, magdalene! 

we chose this nam after Mary Magdalene, the first woman who saw the empty tomb after Jesus’ death and resurrection. In Matthew 28:8 it says that when the angel appeared and she saw the empty tomb she was afraid, yet filled with JOY!

when our team first got together we noticed that we all had so much joy but it wasn’t the earthly kind. Sure we all had fears and doubts like every other human, but that doesn’t stop us. We each carry so much perseverance from the Lord to keep going, keep choosing in, keep committing to each other daily, and never losing that pure joy of the straight from the heart of God. 

now, without further ado….meet my sisters! 

Kayci 

this woman is beyond wise! she is constantly in tune with what the Holy Spirit is teaching her in literally every aspect of her life. She walks in such a light ; the kind that is gentle and steadfast. she once said

 “if i quit now then i’m breaking off my whole hearted pursuit of the Lord” like i said, beyond wise. 

my girl Kayce loves everything southern! southern food, southern slang, and a big ole southern family (like family of 6 BIG) she loves them really well even tho they’re hundreds of miles away in Jacksonville, NC (her hometown!) 

Kayce shows the utmost joy when she’s persevering. on a really rough day you can find this woman in her Bible, soaking up what God declares over that same day and what He declares over her. the Joy of the Lord is her strength! it’s been an honor to walk alongside her and see her in the Light. 

Kourtney

this woman clearly finds her identity in her Father, and she loves Him for it! her relationship with God is built so much on love & trust. she is constantly giving praise to Him whether it be on the stage during worship, or just encouraging me in tough situations. her love & adoration for what God has done in her life is inspiring. she is Loved, therefore she loves. 

my gal Kourt is a Texan through and through ; back home she raised farm animals and drank strong coffee, but she loves coffee shops more. she loves to sing & paint & spend time in solitude with God (like 5am in the woods kinda solitude). One of her favorite things in the world is her sweet pup, Rusty. 

Kourtney shows joy when she’s uplifting other people. She knows that she is a daughter of Christ who has been set free from judgement & shame & heaviness, so she LOVES to validate and encourage people into that too. She is so loud (in a good way!) and uses her voice to speak truth & life over people. find her jumping around 24/7 about how good God is! it’s been an honor to be discipled & loved by her. 

Hannah 

Hannah is the definition of the big sister i’ve always wanted. she is so gentle & patient with every person she comes into contact with. she has a heart to listen to people’s stories and show that someone does care, in a world that sometimes never does. she embodies james 1:19 which says “be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry”. her eagerness to run back to the Father and glorify Him is so so evident. 

Han is from music city, usa (nashville!) she also has a big family full of lots of brothers & sisters, so c-squad was only a small adjustment (hehe). she’s the real life version of gilmore girls, she drinks & makes & lives & breathes COFFEE! if we did a blind taste test of 400 types of coffee she for sure ace every. single. one. oh & this woman is definitely writing signs for all of our future weddings because her calligraphy skillz are off the charts beautiful! 

this woman shows joy in listening to people. her love & deep communion with the Father is so clear. she shows that in her wisdom, especially when reading & speaking scripture. her knowledge of the Word is incredible to witness and makes me want to read it more. this kind & gentle woman is a big sister by the way she speaks truth, prays over me & listens to every persons story. it’s an honor to be in her presence. 

Paige

if you read my last story, you know that i love this woman a lot! she’s the fierce leader of this little fam. she pursues all things strength & dignity. this woman seeks to sharpen us into better woman, better sisters, and better daughters of Grace. she loves her pups at home & loves a good dad joke. it’s an honor to have her lead me in this season. 

These woman are my family, my safe havens, my protectors, my peace keepers and my joy seekers. to know them to know the Father.
