HEY FRIENDS! Welcome to the first ever blog of World Race Rags! You might be asking “what the heck is this?” glad you asked! I was inspired by clothing & culture & the people who cultivate it! So i decided to write some blogs about my favorite people and some of their favorite items. I believe that the clothes we wear, the jewelry we hang, and the shoes we walk in have the power to tell stories. Stories about who we are, who we were, the friends & family we have, and what God is doing in our lives. So without further ado here’s our first person & their rags :))

tell me about your outfit
my outfit consists of my favorite shorts ever, a blue pullover, my black t shirt & some of the dopest shoes i’ve ever worn. also the black beanie from one of my friends 🙂
any stories behind these clothes?
the shoes are my squad mate nikki’s. i think these are some of the coolest shoes i have ever seen. even better, she bought them from out favorite thrift store in guatemala. her shoes got stolen from the “sticky bandit” so she went to mega pack and prayed for some size 7 shoes and there they were.
where do you get your clothes?
- i got my shorts which were originally jeans from a thrift store in my home town for $1.
- the shirt is from target! i wear like three times a week. if you come on the race i recommend bringing a black t-shirt maybe even two. i really love this one.
- the blue pullover is my friend caroline’s. she’s really cool, she went on the world race the same year as me but on a different squad

what has God been clothing you in lately?
the Lord has been clothing me in grace lately.
also in a lot a lot a lot love.
